What is Rapid Transformational Therapy?

RTT is a powerful and effective technique that allows you to achieve immediate, permanent and transformational change in your life. It embraces many of the positive aspects of hypnosis and hypnotherapy that are known to produce a transformative effect on clients: the use of trance, regression and hypnotic conditioning. However, RTT goes beyond, diagnosing what works with real clients in real sessions to build a new therapeutic approach.

This innovative method of Rapid Transformational Therapy was developed by world renowned therapist, speaker, and best-selling author Marisa Peer, described by Tatler Magazine as, “Britain’s best therapist”. Marisa developed her method over three decades of working with international superstars, CEOs, Olympic athletes, Royalty and Oscar winning actors.

Marisa identified that regardless of their issue, in sessions clients benefitted from her applying a particular set of techniques over and over again. These insights provided the foundations for Rapid Transformational Therapy to emerge as a distinctive approach.

I was personally trained by Marisa Peer and continue with ongoing training and professional development with Marisa. I am a certified Marisa Peer Method Hypnotherapist and Rapid Transformational Therapist.

How is it different?

We know that clients are time starved and come to us in pain, both physical and emotional. They want rapid results. So the first difference with RTT is it aims to deliver permanent change in a single 90 minute session, although some clients and some issues will need up to 3 sessions.

The second difference with RTT is it is a method that truly empowers clients. By using a technique called Role, Function, Purpose, it honours and values the significance clients attach to their issues/problems and then offers as a powerful emotional release from them. They can actually be free from pain.

A third difference with RTT is its use of Command Cell Therapy as a modality for purposefully healing the body, as opposed to positive conditioning alone.

Lastly, RTT draws out ‘unfinished business’, meaning it is a technique for addressing the trauma that clients have been holding onto for many years using a variety of unique and effective techniques.

The client is involved with the therapist in uncovering the meaning and interpretation of events and then changing them. This leads to permanent and powerful change.

How RTT works?

Hypnotherapy is used as the vehicle because of its ability to access the subconscious and unconscious mind. In hypnosis, the conscious mind is suppressed and the subconscious mind is revealed. Your subconscious mind is much more powerful than your conscious mind. This is the part of the mind that holds the necessary information and the keys to your freedom. Hypnosis is a way to ‘tap in’ and use the vast power house of the subconscious mind.

This provides us with direct access to the information required to understand the ‘reasons’ we do what we do and react the way we react, saving us hours and even years in talk therapy, searching for the source of the issue. Our beliefs often lie below the surface. Often we don’t realise we have them until some intervention or contemplative practice makes us aware.

In Hypnosis, we can safely revisit the root cause of the issue. We can then effectively work through the issue, that rapidly comes to the surface, using various techniques, in order to process, understand, heal and release any negative beliefs, habits or subconscious blocks that may be sabotaging your health, wealth, happiness or success.

Finally, we reprogram the subconscious mind with new empowering beliefs and habits of success, enabling irrational fears, phobias, negative thoughts, self-sabotaging behaviour and suppressed emotions to be overcome. In Hypnosis, the mind is more receptive to suggestions.

Hypnosis works by altering our state of conscious in such a way that the analytical left side of the brain is turned off, while the non-analytical right side is made more alert. The conscious control of the mind is inhibited, and the conscious mind is awoken. Since the subconscious mind is a deeper-seated, more instinctive force than the conscious mind, this is the part which has to change for the patient’s behaviour and physical state to alter.

For example, a patient who consciously wants to overcome their fear of spiders may try everything they consciously can to do it, but will still fail as long as their subconscious mind retains this terror and prevents the patient from succeeding. Progress can only be made by reprogramming the subconscious so that the deep-seated instincts and beliefs are abolished.

When we replace disempowering beliefs with empowering ones, tremendous change can occur in your life, at a very real and rapid pace, enabling you to easily overcome self-sabotaging behaviour and successfully live the life you truly desire and deserve.

What Happens After The Session?

After the session, you will be provided with a personalized recording to use at home to help reinforce the session. It takes 10-21 days for new patterns of behaviour to be established. Each time you listen to the recording you are reinforcing your mind and replacing old negative suggestions with powerful positive ones. It is important that you listen to your personalised recording daily for at least 3 weeks after your session and then continue to play it regularly until the words become deeply embedded into your subconscious mind.

Sessions are available online and in person in Harrow, London.

During the session, you will feel relaxed, comfortable and safe. Hypnosis is simply a natural state of relaxed focus and concentration.
